Sister taxa: Notonecta (Paranecta), Notonecta cantalensis, Notonecta mazzoniae, Notonecta primaeva, Notonecta xyphiale

Type specimen: CNU-HET-GY2010001, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Yumen City (CNU 2010 collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siliciclastic in the Chijinbao Formation of China.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Yumen City (CNU 2010 collection)
