Sister taxa: Strigambitus bilobus, Strigambitus transversus, Strigambitus utahensis

Type specimen: USNM 141736, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is USGS loc. 756-CO, Last Chance Range, which is in a Dresbachian marine shale in the Nopah Formation of California.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:
