Type specimen: SMNS MX-440, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Mexican amber (SMNS collection), which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in the Mazantic Shale Formation of Mexico.

Distribution: found only at Mexican amber (SMNS collection)
