Type specimen: MPEF PV 3990, a partial skeleton (an almost complete skeleton, including the posterior half of the skull, five cervical and nine dorsal vertebrae, complete sacrum, 27 caudal vertebrae, left and ). Its type locality is Jugo Loco site, near Cerro Cóndor, which is in an Aalenian/Bajocian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Cañadón Asfalto Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Jugo Loco site, near Cerro Cóndor
