Type specimen: IMC 72, a valve (dorsal valve). Its type locality is Aifam River 79SH80, which is in a Kungurian marine shale in the Aifat Formation of Indonesia.

Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Aifam River 79SH80
