Type specimen: GSE 2140, an exoskeleton (a small, poorly-preserved scorpion). Its type locality is Dalmeny railway cutting, which is in an Arundian/Holkerian marine shale in the Cementstone-Sandstone Series Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Dalmeny railway cutting
