Type specimen: GSE 2173, an exoskeleton (shale slab with fragmentary scorpion remains). Its type locality is Shore west of Eagle Rock, Cramond, which is in a Chadian marine siliciclastic in the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Shore west of Eagle Rock, Cramond
