Type specimen: EUIT 7-850, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Howz-e Dorah section, south Shotori range, which is in a Tournaisian carbonate limestone in the Shishtu Formation of Iran.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Howz-e Dorah section, south Shotori range
