Type specimen: IVPP V502, a maxilla. Its type locality is Kantanyao, Yangmeichiao, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Lingcha Formation of China.
Ecology: carnivore
Distribution: found only at Kantanyao, Yangmeichiao
