Type specimen: FMNH PF7241, a skeleton. Its type locality is Hansen quarry, quarry 6, Wea Shale, which is in a Kasimovian marine shale in the Westerville Formation of Nebraska.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution:
• Carboniferous of United States (4: Iowa, Nebraska collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
