Type specimen: MPCA 865, a partial skull (posterior half of skull in articulation with the lower jaws). Its type locality is East shore, Ezequiel Ramos Mexía Reservoir, which is in a Cenomanian fluvial sandstone/mudstone in the Candeleros Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at East shore, Ezequiel Ramos Mexía Reservoir
