Type specimen: VNIGRI 72-31, a carapace. Its type locality is Bogdo Mountain, Astrakan (VNIGRI coll), which is in a Spathian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Russian Federation.
Ecology: epifaunal detritivore-grazer
Distribution: found only at Bogdo Mountain, Astrakan (VNIGRI coll)
