Sister taxon: Holopogon pilipes
Type specimen: UMMP 25983, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Peterson Creek, Ruby River Basin, which is in a Rupelian lacustrine - large shale in Montana.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Peterson Creek, Ruby River Basin
