Sister taxon: Nodosinella wedmoriensis
Type specimen: USNM 7I376, a test. Its type locality is about 7 miles south of Ardmore, which is in a Morrowan marine shale in the Johns Valley Formation of Oklahoma.
Ecology: stationary semi-infaunal omnivore
Distribution:
• Carboniferous of United States (20: Oklahoma, Texas collections)
Total: 20 collections each including a single occurrence
