Type specimen: USNM 85525. Its type locality is Johns Valley Shale, Ouachita Mountains loc. H-48, which is in a Pennsylvanian marine shale in the Johns Valley Formation of Oklahoma.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Johns Valley Shale, Ouachita Mountains loc. H-48
