Belongs to Qilianoconcha according to Y. G. Jin et al. 1979
Sister taxa: Qilianoconcha circularis, Qilianoconcha corcula, Qilianoconcha opima, Qilianoconcha pentagona
Type specimen: NIGP 42875. Its type locality is Jieheishen river mouth, sample 032, Tianjun County, which is in an Anisian marine horizon in the Junzihe Formation of China.
Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Triassic of China (4 collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
