Type specimen: IVPP V10176, a partial skull (Partial skull with left P3~M3). Its type locality is Wangpo Village, Dazhang, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Dazhang Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Wangpo Village, Dazhang
