Sister taxon: Zhujegale jintangensis
Type specimen: IVPP V6088, a partial skull (Right maxilla, left lower jaw and right p4). Its type locality is Zhuje Commune, Liren, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Shanghu Formation of China.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Zhuje Commune, Liren
