Type specimen: PIN nr. 4890-4, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Tshu-Ili Mountains, Altmaaty region, which is in an Asselian/Kungurian marine siltstone in the Khantausskaya Formation of Kazakhstan.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Tshu-Ili Mountains, Altmaaty region
