- Schaefferia fluminensis: MNRJ 1350-V, a mandible (Portion of left mandibular ramus). Its type locality is São José de Itaborai, which is in an Eocene fissure fill marl in the Itaboraí Formation of Brazil.
Ecology: scansorial omnivore
Distribution: found only at São José de Itaborai (Eocene of Brazil)
