Type specimen: NMV-7, a partial skull (partial skull with right periotic). Its type locality is Homare 2 District, which is in a Tortonian marine mudstone in the Wakkanai Formation of Japan.
Ecology: aquatic piscivore
Distribution: found only at Homare 2 District
