Type specimen: NTM P98211, a maxilla (left maxillary fragment with P2-M4). Its type locality is Alcoota Scientific Reserve, which is in a Miocene crevasse splay siltstone in the Waite Formation of Australia.
Ecology: scansorial carnivore
Distribution: found only at Alcoota Scientific Reserve
