Type specimens:
- Bottosaurus harlani: ANSP 9226 and 9227, a mandible (Portions of dentary and angular). Its type locality is Birmingham (general) (Hornerstown Fm.), which is in a Maastrichtian/Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Hornerstown Formation of New Jersey.
- Crocodilus macrorhynchus:
Ecology: carnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous to Paleogene of United States (2: New Jersey collections)
• Cretaceous of United States (1: Maryland)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
