Sister taxon: Mochlodon priscus
Type specimen: MTM V 2010.105.1, a mandible (left complete dentary with four broken teeth). Its type locality is Iharkút mine, Bakony mountains (Unit 1), which is in a Santonian crevasse splay claystone/sandstone in the Csehbánya Formation of Hungary.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Iharkút mine, Bakony mountains (Unit 1)
