Type specimen: Its type locality is Dunvegan (W.B. Clarke coll), which is in an Asbian marine siliciclastic in the Flagstaff Formation of Australia.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Dunvegan (W.B. Clarke coll)
