Type specimen: OMNH 64191, a tooth (right m1). Its type locality is OMNH V1243, Hell Canyon, which is in a Berriasian/Valanginian fluvial mudstone/sandstone in the Lakota Formation of South Dakota.
Ecology: arboreal herbivore
Distribution: found only at OMNH V1243, Hell Canyon
