Type specimen: OMNH 62670, a tooth (a right M2). Its type locality is Near the mouth of Hell Canyon, about 17 km ENE of Edgemont (OMNH V1243), which is in a Berriasian/Valanginian fluvial mudstone/sandstone in the Lakota Formation of South Dakota.

Ecology: arboreal herbivore

Distribution: found only at Near the mouth of Hell Canyon, about 17 km ENE of Edgemont (OMNH V1243)
