Type specimen: OMNH 62673, a tooth (right upper molar from the distal part of the series, perhaps M5). Its type locality is OMNH V1243, Hell Canyon, which is in a Berriasian/Valanginian fluvial mudstone/sandstone in the Lakota Formation of South Dakota.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of United States (2: South Dakota collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
