Type specimen: NMNS-KIKO-F044630, a skeleton (a nearly complete skeleton with the tip of the tail and the right hind limb missing). Its type locality is Chajiang (near the Huangnihe River), Xingyi, which is in a Ladinian marine horizon in the Falang Formation of China.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Chajiang (near the Huangnihe River), Xingyi
