Type specimen: PIN3152/4313, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Myangad locality, Section 221/17, which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Gurvan-Eren Formation of Mongolia.

Distribution: found only at Myangad locality, Section 221/17
