Type specimen: NMB H 17330, a shell. Its type locality is TU 1230, Río Cana [Gurabo Fm], which is in a Messinian marine siliciclastic in the Gurabo Formation of the Dominican Republic.

Ecology: epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at TU 1230, Río Cana [Gurabo Fm]
