Sister taxon: Cardabiodon venator
Type specimen: WAM 96.4.45, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Cardabiodon Site, CY Creek, which is in a Cenomanian marine siltstone in the Gearle Siltstone Formation of Australia.

• Cretaceous of Australia (2 collections), Canada (2: Alberta)
