Sister taxa: Anagymnites acutus, Anagymnites grandis, Anagymnites lamarcki, Anagymnites torrensii
Type specimen: GSC 6446. Its type locality is GSC 10693, Milepost 375, Alaska Highway, which is in an Illyrian marine siliciclastic in the Toad Formation of Canada.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Average measurements (in mm): shell diameter 51.4
Distribution:
• Triassic of Canada (3: British Columbia collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
