Type specimen: IGM 183062, a set of postcrania (Weber complex). Its type locality is Malacobagrus Duke 6, which is in a Laventan lacustrine claystone/mudstone in the Villavieja Formation of Colombia.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Malacobagrus Duke 6
