Type specimen: GSI Type No. Pal/CHQ/25, a mandible (Partial left lower jaw with five postcanines). Its type locality is Dumdumi village, right bank Damodar river, which is in an Induan/Smithian terrestrial sandstone in the Panchet Formation of India.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Dumdumi village, right bank Damodar river
