Type specimen: Holotype: p.m. 1006; coord. 55/94.2. Stored at Museo de La Plata, Paleobotanical division., a microspore (Pollen grain). Its type locality is Puerto Visser, which is in a Thanetian terrestrial horizon in the Salamanca Formation of Argentina.
