Type specimen: UFAC 1716. Its type locality is Niteroi, which is in a Tortonian fluvial-lacustrine claystone/conglomerate in the Solimões Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Niteroi
