Sister taxa: Alilepus browni, Alilepus hibbardi, Alilepus vagus, Alilepus wilsoni
Type specimen: SÚÚG coll. Fejfar 65171, a tooth (right 3rd lower premolar). Its type locality is Ivanovce fissures, which is in a MN 15 fissure fill claystone in Slovakia.
Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser
Distribution: found only at Ivanovce fissures
