Sister taxa: Jovites borealis, Jovites bosnensis, Jovites dacus, Jovites pacificus
Type specimen: GSC 70995. Its type locality is GSC 94736, Mount Laurier, which is in a Tuvalian marine siliciclastic in the Ludington Formation of Canada.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Average measurements (in mm): shell diameter 32.3
Distribution:
• Triassic of Canada (2: British Columbia collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
