Type specimen: CPC 5074, a valve (left valve). Its type locality is H200, 4.5 miles north-east of Tabibuga, which is in a Carnian marine siliciclastic in the Jimi Formation of Papua New Guinea.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:

• Triassic of Papua New Guinea (2 collections)
