Type specimen: PUM Mbg. 145, a wing. Its type locality is Schmiedestraße quarry, Haßlinghausen, which is in a Marsdenian marine siliciclastic in the Upper Hagen Beds Formation of Germany.

Distribution: found only at Schmiedestraße quarry, Haßlinghausen
