Type specimen: BSPG 1959 II 2066, a mandible (fragment of left dentary). Its type locality is Sandelzhausen gravel pit, which is in a Langhian fluvial-lacustrine marl/mudstone in the Upper Freshwater Molasse Formation of Germany.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Sandelzhausen gravel pit
