Type specimen: CHU 30, a tooth (Left M 1 or 2). Its type locality is Laguna Umayo, Chulpas level, which is in a Thanetian/Ypresian lacustrine conglomerate/sandstone in the Muñani Formation of Peru.
Ecology: scansorial omnivore
Distribution: found only at Laguna Umayo, Chulpas level
