Type specimen: HGM 41HIII-0107, a skeleton (an exceptionally well-preserved skeleton with a skull and lower jaws). Its type locality is Qiupa, Luanchuan Basin, which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone/conglomerate in the Qiupa Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
