Type specimen: NHMM PE-2000/14, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Eckfeld Maar (NHMN 2000 collection), which is in a MP 13 crater lake siltstone/shale in the Eifel Formation of Germany.

Distribution: found only at Eckfeld Maar (NHMN 2000 collection)
