Type specimen: SMNS Do-1172-K-1, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber (SMNS coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.

Distribution: found only at Dominican amber (SMNS coll)
