Type specimen: NIGPAS "Protelytroptera", an exoskeleton. Its type locality is 5km N from Shenjiawan village, near Changma town, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Xiagou Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving arboreal herbivore
Distribution: found only at 5km N from Shenjiawan village, near Changma town
