Type specimen: IVPP V11700, a partial skull (Fragmentary right upper jaw and partial right lower jaw). Its type locality is Zengdeao Village, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Shanghu Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Zengdeao Village
