Type specimen: IVPP V12040, a partial skull (Pair of lower jaws and partial left maxilla). Its type locality is Huanglaowu (IVPP locality 70023), which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Wanghudun Formation of China.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Huanglaowu (IVPP locality 70023)
