Type specimen: MNHN 534, a mandible. Its type locality is Alto Río Cisnes, which is in a Friasian fluvial tuff/sandstone in the Río Frias Formation of Chile.
Ecology: scansorial omnivore
Distribution: found only at Alto Río Cisnes
